As more companies share their success stories, the allure of AI becomes hard to ignore for many in the industry, creating a ripple effect of adoption.

However, this rapid transition has shown a tendency among companies, including those in the utility sector, to perhaps act hastily. The fear of being left behind in the competitive race is leading to knee-jerk reactions rather than well-thought-out strategies. Some companies might be attempting to run before they can walk, diving headfirst into AI adoption without a solid foundation or a clear roadmap.

AI can optimize route planning for field personnel, ensuring that the most efficient routes are used, and that personnel are deployed where they are needed most.

Real-time monitoring of field operations through AI can also ensure that issues are identified and addressed promptly, thereby improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
